Every Month is Oktoberfest!

I broke my no buy rule, oops. :) While at Walmart I noticed the smartstyle salon had OPI polish buy 1 get 1 half off. Normally I don't even blink when I see OPI, but I saw this color and HAD to have it lol. My no buy rule was again broken when I went to get cuticle cream and found China Glaze's Cirque collection was BOGO at my local Sally's SO I had to get some of those, lol and then again later when Zoya's 3 free polishes plus shipping coupon went live. My no buy rule is in effect again. My goal is March when the HOLOGLAM collection comes out!!!
Anyhow, here's the pics. There's quite a few. It just seemed no matter what angle, flash, no flash, etc.. I just couldn't capture everything my own eye sees. :) :) :) On to the pics! Please ignore the nub that is on my pinky :( I broke it today cleaning my kitchen, and I can't bring myself to cut the rest of them down.
Figures, finally got a length I like and a T-Fal pot decided that I couldn't have it anymore, lol.

I actually have 2 manis to show today. One I wore for most of yesterday, but the more and more I looked at it, the less and less I liked it, so I did another one, but figured since I had pictures of both, I might as well post them!

For this mani I used CG's Creative Fantasy & Wet N' Wild's Night Prowl

Funny how purples tend to look blue on my camera, and a flash shows a BIG difference in color lol

For this mani I used Sally Hansen Xtreme wear Lacey Lilac and Sinful Colors Amethyst

To be honest I wasn't overly please with either mani.

The Crumpet's 31 day challenge! PINK!

I'm ahead of schedule by a little, but it's about time for sleeping, and I have SO much to do tomorrow, I'm not sure if I'll get a chance to get on here and post something, so here is my pink mani!

Now, I'm not really a "pink" person. My 4 year old on the other hand is an expert in all things pink and sparkly. She is the one behind this mani. The base color is a franken polish that I made that I call "Monkey". Of my 300+ polishes, this color is my 4 year old's favorite; I call her Monkey, so I thought it was fitting that the color was named after her. The glitter is Wet N' Wild Sparkle and the silver stripe is Kleancolor nail to toe art polish.


On a side note, my daughters made me something tonight...it's just so thoughtful of them. When they gave it to me they said "just cause we love you mom". Had a bit of a mommy moment too lol Funny how the silly little things mean so much sometimes....

I had NO idea what I was going to do for today's challenge. So, I sat down in my little polish corner, picked out some colors, and brain stormed. The only thing I did know was that I wanted to incorporate a braid. While not nearly as pleased with this as I was the black and white challenge, here it is...

For the braid I used CG's Stone Cold, Blue Bells Ring, and Pure Ice Silver Mercedes.
The other nails are Kleancolor Pearl Silver, and CG's Frostbite.
I also used my Stripe Rite in black.

The Crumpet's Nail Tart Challenge! Day 1, Black & White

I have felt soooo uninspired lately, then I saw not 1 but 2 challenges! One for January and one for February. My brain went into to over drive figuring out manis for every day lol.... So, without further delay, here's my black and white mani!

I used China Glaze's "White on white" and "Liquid Leather" as well as my Stripe Rite art polishes in black and white.
