Get Outta My Space, Strap On Your Moonboots, and Cosmic Dust

Sort of decided to scrap the individual post for each color thing. The weather isn't cooperating, and the gloomy/rainy thing that is happening is making me grumpy. But at least it's not snow!

First, Get Outta My Space. First two pics are outside, but I can't really see the holo like I could with the other colors, probably due to the lack of sun. The last pic is inside with flash.

Today is again gloomy and rainy. I love the smell that is coming through my house now that it's just warm enough to open the windows, but the lack of sun makes me sad, lol. I decided to use Strap On Your Moonboots, and Cosmic Dust in a "nail art" thing. I just didn't want a one color mani today.

Just like the other colors, no special base. 3 thin coats, and no top coat, except on the ring finger to make sure the rhinestone didn't fall off lol

Color Club's Halo Hues Blue Heaven

Decided to take a break from the HOLOGLAM collection, but I do have another beautiful holo to share! Went to the store with my brother this morning, and he got me a present! Part of the Halo Hues collection is now available at Meijer! SO, my brother bought me one cause he loves me :) :) :) I broke the nail on my middle finger of my left hand, but couldn't bring myself to file the rest down, so don't judge the nub! This is two coats, no top coat, and my usual grow strong base coat by essie. I love this polish! Can't wait to get the rest of them!

Galactic Grey

Well today the sun was hiding behind clouds, but it was beautiful outside! The Galactic Grey seemed to have more holo-ness to it, so I don't have any outside pictures, but I'm pleased with the indoor ones I did get. This time, I tried using Gelous as a base coat to fill in nail imperfections, and there's only two coats of polish, no top coat in the pictures.

In the bottle and on the nail, I'm just not sure how to describe this color. It's a green/gold. Not usually in the palet of colors I use, but I like it. Again, no special base coat, and 3 thin coats.

HOLOGLAM! When Stars Collide

Here's "When Stars Collide". I love this color! The same as the previous colors, 3 thin coats, no special base coat.

HOLOGLAM! Take a Trek

Another polish from the HOLOGLAM collection! Squeeee! I'm still so happy that I got this collection! I realized that I forgot to mention in yesterday's post that I did not use any special base coat before applying the polish. I used my usual base coat, Essie's Grow Stronger Base Coat.
For Take a Trek, I did the same as Infra-Red. 3 thin coats. Multiple pictures in different lighting, and 1 picture with topcoat. Again, the topcoat had zero effect on the holo-ness of the polish. The only thing that I noticed after loading the pictures on my computer, and having a bigger preview to look at, this one looks a LOT different with the sun or the flash from the camera, you'll see what I mean.

China Glaze HOLOGLAM! Infra-Red

SO, thanks to Sally's buy 2 get 1 free sale on ALL their polish, and the gift cards my husband got me for our anniversary, I am now the proud owner of the ENTIRE HOLOGLAM! collection! I hadn't originally planned on buying the whole collection, but they're $8.99 not the $14.50 that I read. Not sure I own an entire collection of any polish brand. There's always 1 or 2 colors I don't want, or can't find. I'm planning on showing you all each polish, but in it's own post rather than 1 big post with a ton of pictures. So, I'm showing "Infra-Red".
The formula was ok. I read that streaking is a problem with these polishes, and it definitely is. Make sure you take the time to wait a couple minutes between coats. All the pictures below show 3 thin coats (2 thicker coats would work too).

This is also inside with flash, but this is AFTER adding topcoat. Some holographic polishes lose their holo finish when topcoat is added. Sometimes just while it's drying, sometimes all together. This polish didn't lose it's holo finish at all!

Pretty sure it goes without saying that I am stoked to own this collection! Can't wait to show you all the other colors in the collection! Have a great day!
