I got nail mail today, and I am sooo happy! Picked up some polishes that have been on my wishlist thanks to an Etsy giftcard and deciding the no buy was over, lol. The first one I'll show is Seriously Serious. A super sparkly purple based glitter bomb of pretty. I have it over Liquid Leather (black polish). As the Diva suggested.
It's a little on the thick side, but that's to be expected. Specially since she uses uncut suspension base. I love this polish!

Red-Y and Willing swatch
I won my first ever give away! The autumn nights collection from china glaze. First swatch is Red-Y and Willing. Probably my favorite from the set.
Found the battery to my camera! Yay! Comparison request.
Finally found the battery to my camera! YAY!
So I had a request to compare to sinful color shades that upon first looking are a LOT alike but after further inspection....
Well they're similar, that's for sure. But they're not the exact match my friend thought they might be. I still think they're both pretty. :)

Sinful Colors: Sinfulshine SLICK
I have a terrible time getting any purple polish to photograph right with my camera. I spent about 20 minutes playing with the setting, and finally found a combination of settings that almost capture the truly bright purple that this polish is. As a result my skin looks real yellow lol. I also learned that in this process, the display picture on my camera might have a blue tint, but when the pictures are uploaded, they're actually purple. Anyhow...Here's Sinfulshine's Slick. I love this color! Accent nail is a no name glitter topper I found at Dots.
If you go over to Jen's Wonderland she has much better swatch photos HERE. It's cloudy and rainy outside today, maybe my pictures would have been better outside, lol.
These 2 pics are what it looked like during setting checks. Still a pretty color (i think) but not true to the polish.
Here's the rest, think I figured it out. I tried taking a few pics with flash to get the brightness of this color, but no matter what setting I tried it looked blue through the lens. :(

Oh Brother... My custom present polish from the lovely Lynda...
As most of you have realized, I am in the review group/council for Creations By Lynda LLC. She was generous enough to give us presents! Our own custom polishes! I spent days trying to figure out what I wanted. Including possible dupes for the Forces Trio by Emily De Molly that I never got :(.
Then on September 30th, my older brother unexpectedly passed away. After that it was pretty easy for me to decide what I wanted. A custom polish, inspired by him. He loved basketball, the UK Wildcats specifically. Their colors, blue and white.
So, I contacted Lynda with my ideas, and she with her polish mastery brought it to life. I called it "Oh Brother".
White frost polish with every blue/holographic circle/dot glitter she had, and a few black dots. I love it! I took a LOT of pictures attempting to catch all the prettiness. I think it gives a glimpse of his personality and love.
As with all of Lynda's creations, application was flawless. The glitters sank a bit but that's to be expected. Sit it upside down for a few minutes, and BAM! Glitter loveliness!
Be sure to check out Lynda's pages, FACEBOOK or her shop's page, HERE. She does custom polishes! You could get your own! :)
