Orly's Snowcone and China Glaze's Mosaic Madness

So, I slipped on ice and fell down yesterday. In the process of said fall I managed to sprain my shoulder and tear my rotater (sp?) cuff. :( Subsequently I now have my arm in a sling, and the pain is pretty bad. I found out the hard way that actual nail "art" isn't going to happen. SO, until the doctor's figure out what is going to happen with all this shoulder/arm stuff I will basically be posting swatches & glitter stuff. :) Still pretty but not "art". I have an appointment in the morning to make sure no bones were broken (the tissue, tendons, etc... were too swollen to see the bones in x-rays clearly) and to find out if I need surgery to fix my shoulder.

A little bit ago I was on a kick of wanting a sky blue/pastel polish and used one of my four year old's. I didn't like that too much. I did however find a blue that was light, sort of pastel, and much closer to my preferred color pallet.

Anyhow, here's the pics.

Two coats of Orly's Snowcone. No top coat. With flash and without. This was almost a one coater! But I always feel odd if I don't do at least two.

After deciding that while I am in love with this blue, it needed a little something. SO, I added one coat of China Glaze's Mosaic Madness from their Glitz and Pieces collection. Which I have decided I definitely need to get the rest of. :)

I am really digging this look. I think I need to start doing this glitter over creme finish more often! I heart it!
